Invisalign® is an orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten your teeth.

Using a series of aligners that are near-invisible, Invisalign® is as effective as traditional braces.

How do Invisalign® aligners differ from traditional braces?

Braces traditionally consist of interlinked wires and brackets which work to straighten the teeth over time. Invisalign® does all the work that traditional braces do but with tailor-made clear aligners that are virtually invisible to the naked eye.

Similar to a gumshield, Invisalign® aligners are thin and exceedingly discreet.

What are the benefits of Invisalign®?

The primary benefit of Invisalign® is that it is discreet. Invisalign® aligners can also be removed for cleaning and at mealtimes, making them incredibly easy to maintain.

With Invisalign®, aligners are changed every two weeks to slowly adjust the position of your teeth. Overall, most treatments are completed within 3-9 months. Your treatment time will be discussed at your consultation with your dentist, as it depends on how simple or complex your case may be.

Do Invisalign® aligners hurt?

Invisalign® aligners do not hurt. You may notice a little force is applied to your teeth when wearing the aligners. This is normal and discomfort should be minimal.

How often will I need to visit the dentist during treatment?

During Invisalign® treatment, you will visit your dentist once every 4-6 weeks. Your dentist will provide more than one set of aligners, with you managing your treatment at home in between.
